Kanha National Park

Kanha Tiger Reserve has spectacular Sal and Bamboo forest, rolling grasslands and meandering streams stretch over 1945 sq. km. in the heart of central highlands. This is the original Kipling country so fondly written about in his Jungle Book. The park is the only home to the rare hard ground Barasingha found in its large grasslands. Indian Signature Spider (Argiope anasuja), photographed by Samrat Godambe at #Kanha National Park These #spiders make certain zig-zag pattern on web therefore also known as writer or signature spider.This spider weaves four zig zag stripes in its web, and holds its legs together in pairs. It holds its legs in pairs to disguise itself as a four legged creature; it does this to not appear to look like a spider.
