The Royal Bank of Canada Garden was designed by Matthew Wilson and built by Clifton Nurseries Ltd.  The sculptural, curving, twisting seating was hand made by Tom Raffield from steam bent ash in Cornwall.

This woven seat was created by greenwood artist, Spencer Jenkins and lent to The Morgan Stanley Healthy Cities Garden for the duration of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. The sculptural steel tree was designed by Chris Beardshaw and created by Nigel Fergusson Fabrications.

I loved the Olea europea, seen here in macro bonsai form in The Royal Bank of Canada Garden.  The beautiful, sculptural, arching seating was hand made by Tom Raffield from steam bent ash in Cornwall.

Primula vialii, Trollius x cultorum 'Cheddar, Hosta 'Devon Green, Geranium 'Johnson's Blue' intermingle as they line the water feature. In the background, you might just be able to make out the patterned cube seating, these cube seats are covered with hospital grade fabric, some of the cubes are decorated with art works created by patients from Great Ormond Street Hospital.

The design focuses on the mathematical patterns that appear in nature - such as the Golden Ratio, these patterns are expressed throughout both garden’s structure, the layout of the planting and the featured plants. Plants used to demonstrate the mathematical properties include Aloe polyphylla with its spiral form, Gleditsia triacanthos which has a…
