Hi I'm Katheryne but I go by Kate or Katie. I'm the head counselor of the Demeter cabin. I'm 17 and I can make things grow all over the earth. I know pretty much everyone at camp. I like reading and playing softball. I'm friendly so say hi!
The head dress/tiara placed on a Bengali bride's head is known as 'mukut'. She usually drapes a red banarasi sari. The outline of the mukut follows on her face too in the form of red and white dots, by using chandan paste (sandalwood paste). The bride holds betel leaves to cover her face while she is brought to the mandap (the matrimonial site).
