Happy Donut Day! Tie powdered donuts on a string in your garage or front porch or clothes lines for a fun game. If you can't find powdered donuts, or just want to have way more fun, add extra powdered sugar to the donuts before you hang them. Oh and you can't use your hands to eat them!
And finally, my last measurement idea (for now) comes from Family Fun. Make a marshmallow catapult. This could be an in class (group) project or a homework assignment, depending on how you wanted to do it. Either way, launch a few marshmallows, measure their distance and record your answers. http://familyfun.go.com/crafts/marshmallow-catapult-874571/
