Fat burning veggies and all foods that burn fat derive their fat burning properties from 3 ways. Firstly, these veggies that burn fat are complex foods and hence need more calories to break down. Secondly, these veggies have low caloric value and the caloric output is lower than the input. Thirdly, these veggies that burn fat gives us a sense of fullness in the belly even when consumed in small quantities.

Of course it's better to follow all the rules but if your having trouble start slow with 1 or 2 and just keep adding a rule every week!!! It works!!!.
