This photo represents Prospero. His rivalry with Alexandar is one if the most important in the novel. This is mostly due to the fact that they are the reason why the competition exsits at all. It should also be noted that were it not for this rivalry, Marco and Celia would never have met, so despite Prospero being a less than perfect father, his decision to knowingly sacrifice his only daughter led her to finding true love. I Beautifully ironic, isn't it?
