Peter admits, "I was crazy about the show." He's taken the past year off to refuel – "Doctor Who is a 24/7 kind of job. I'd been consumed by it for four years. I'm a humble human being and Doctor Who is a Time Lord, so there's a great leap of imagination. You don’t realise til it ends that you’ve given yourself completely to it. It’s been nice to reconnect with a quieter life. But it was wonderful; to wake up in the morning, go to work and blow up Daleks. What a way to live your life!”
