From Kindergarten With Love
Hi! I am a Kindergarten teacher and I love it! I love to share my ideas with other teachers! I am always looking to be inspired to create new games and centers for students. Being a teacher is a wonderful blessing and I believe that kindergarten is a very special place!
I've done this bulletin board every year, and the kids (and adults) love it! I send out a letter to the parents asking for random items, and this is what I got this year:) The item to search for changes every day.
Made my own blending line for my reception class today... They were very intrigued and hopefully it will encourage them to think about the sounds that make up words :)
Joyful Learning in the Early Years
I am a Reggio Emilia inspired Full Day Kindergarten teacher and mother to three young children. This blog is meant as a communication tool for the families of our children and as a learning tool for the many educators who follow us. Please feel free to comment on posts and participate in our collective understanding of emergent curriculum.
I Spy phonic display. Reception children see the 'letter of the day' and look on the board to find something beginning with the letter. They write the word down on a piece of card using their phonic knowledge. They are then encouraged to draw a picture of the item, write their name and display it in the wall folder for all to see.
