Diversity: Children consider the beauty behind a world of diverse colors and draw their portrait on a crayon cutout. Glue crayons on a paper towel roll and align in a shallow box to display in the classroom.
This would be great for transitioning students from desk work to circle time. Students will learn what is expected of them in order to start the lesson. It will visually represent what needs to happen during the desk to circle transition.
Make these simple sensory bottles as a hands-on manipulative to talk about the weather. Great for circle time! I would use this in a kindergarten class. put the children in 5 groups and let them tell class mates what they think about their bottle.
