Billy Bremner----was a Scottish professional footballer, most noted for his captaincy of the Leeds United team of the 1960s and 1970s. He has since been voted Leeds United's GREATEST player of ALL TIME and has a statue outside the South East corner of Elland Road. Gary Kelly only played for one club and that was Leeds United. Hailing from Ireland he arrived as a striker but Wilkinson played him at right-back, a problem area at the time, one pre-season and it was the turning point and kickstart for his career. He was quick and gave the paciest of wingers a tough game gaining praise from Ryan Giggs more than once. He was a loyal servant who was shamefully treated by Ken Bates & Dennis Wise in 2006 when forced from the club.
John Charles retorna a Leeds Utd en 1962/63. En su primera etapa juega 297 partidos y marca 150 goles (liga inglesa) y luego jugaria 11 partidos mas, marcando 3 goles. Considerado el mejor jugador gales de la historia
Was there ever a greater player for Leeds United than Billy Bremner? The Leeds fans sang: "little Billy Bremner is the captain of the crew, for the sake of Leeds United he would break himself in two!" And he would have!
