Mow Cop Castle on the Staffordshire Moorlands
This is the Roaches in the Staffordshire Moorlands as seen in December. They are always the first place to get snow covered.
The River Churnet, Most of the town is at or above 600 feet (180 m) and is surrounded by the even higher countryside of the Staffordshire Moorlands which is situated on the southern uplands of the Pennines.
