Distortion of the female figure through structured draping, almost looks like the use of card. Volume in parts of the body where traditionally females would like to conceal.

This is a good example of RHYTHM because you can't really determine what's coming next because there isn't a pattern repeated throughout, such as scales. There is an obvious repetition of the rippled effect but it isn't predictable where it will end or begin. Since it isn't a continuous repetition throughout the design, it isn't a pattern. There isn't a fluid pattern, just repition of the same type of ripples.

Future Fashion, Futuristic Clothing, Avant-Garde, Futuristic Style, Gareth Pugh S/S 2009 I think could be implemented with a few less blades in each area
