Pancakes, though a bit less elaborate than how portrayed in the picture, were sometimes eaten for breakfast, along with the bread and wine. These pancakes are called τηγανίτης or ταγηνίας. They also made another form of pancakes called σταίτινος.
Breakfast, or ἀκρατισμός most commonly consisted of barley bread dipped wine. The bread was sometimes accompanied by figs or olives. This is Luce's favorite meal to make - she tends to seem less bitter and bossy when kneading the bread.
The Ephesian lunch, or ἄριστον, was swift, and was eaten around noon. Adriana often skips this meal, as she's hardly ever hungry at the time, and Antipholus is hardly ever home, so to sit and eat is pointless.
Their last meal, dinner (or δεῖπνον) was the Ephesian's grandest and most important meal of the day. It was eaten typically at nightfall. A common supper consisted of fish, cheeses, and fruits, uplifted with many herbs and spices. They often drank watered down wine with their dinner.
