It’s just been just over half a year since massive-open-online-course (MOOC) portal Coursera partnered with China’s online media giant Netease to create a fully localized version of its service, Coursera Zone.
Similar conversations have been taking place at major universities around the world, as dozens — 74, at the last count — rush to sign up. Science, engineering and technology courses have been in the vanguard of the movement, but offerings in management, humanities and the arts are growing in popularity.
Ironical it may seem, but Indian Government is still in doubt over the term ‘Startup’. Before ‘Startup India Standup India’ program is launched on January 16th, Government wants to clearly define what exactly is a startup, and wants to understand which companies can be categorized under this definition.
