I think these layouts are a great example of how to make pages graphic heavy, and yet integrate text very well. However, where the most intense graphic elements are, my eye usually goes the wrong way across the page (i. right to left)
I pinned this article because of the simplicity of the layout, i think it has a clean finish and well thought out composition, i also think the colours of the imagery flow so when you turn over the page you know your still reading the same article.
[accent colour] The Silhouette Brochure by Tony Huynh the one color with the black and white is such a simplistic and yet genius idea. This is so perfect for a sports page, but not sure if it will fit in with this year's theme.
