this headstone was erected to a young gunner killed by a gun misfire (me thinks) The headstone has recently been refurbished, and when my son-in-law (a diver) heard about the refurbishment he donated and installed the cannon balls in the picture. The gunnery crew used to fire out to sea honing their shooting skills. The cannon balls were found on the sea bed, and were more than likely from this gun battery.

Well! some time ago, my little wife had to go in hospital for a canny while. So it fell to me to be chief bottle washer... I managed to cope with most household jobs, but the washing machine had me beat..lol! So I solved the problem by taking a picture of the dials and took them to the hospital, were wifey talked me through it, much to the amusement of the nursing staff..dumbkoph!

I have no idea what make of car this old girl is. She was found with a tree growing through her covered in ivy whilst bridging a hole in a wall/hedge on a local farm, this was taken in TERRY's shot blasting yard circa 1980. I believe a well known business man (Keith Schelleninburg was intending to restore it. I do hope so!

This tree carving which has been rally well done, takes on a real SPOOOKEY appearance at DUSK.

This was spooky, when a huge wave crashed over the old sea wall. The mum frantically grabbed one of the youngsters by the scruff of the neck and they all reached safety, thankfully!

Now that's what you call a WOOD BURNING stove. This stove is installed in St. Hilda's cliff top church, and the sign says it is still in use.

Title...FROG LIGHTS. I snapped this picky some years ago when we owned a gorgeous black BMW m/bike. I spotted the friendly TOAD skulking in the garage, so I borrowed him/her for a few minutes So after ensuring my willing model was safe, by placing a huge cut down cardboard box lined with a soft cloth beneath him and ahead of him, in case he jumped, which he didn't. I then popped on the fog light and snapped the picture. Please Note: no frog/toad was harmed in this event,

This is a plaque/headstone to an unusual couple, with many coincidences, and was taken by myself in St Hilda's grave yard in Whitby.
