L’ Haworthia truncata è una pianta dal portamento a rosetta o a ventaglio, con coloritura verde scuro e caratterizzata da giochi di trasparenze con linee traslucide: amante della mezz’ ombra è una succulenta di lenta crescita e dalle poche necessità. Le foglie molto carnose fungono da serbatoio d’ acqua garantendo così anche lunghi periodi di siccità. La coloritura può assumere toni rossastri se esposta in ambiente soleggiato o a basse temperature.
