Charcoal Sketch
feather drawings
These drawings were done by children aged 10. They used white chalk and charcoal on black paper and used a real feather for observation enlarging the drawings to fill the paper. They were using the smudging qualities of the chalk to recreate the texture of the feathers. The children thought that they were the best drawings they had ever done.
