Swiss born graphic designer Eric Nitsche is one of the pioneers of modern graphic design. His studies in graphic design began in Paris, Zurich and Germany where he apprenticed with the famous type designer Fritz Helmuth Ehmcke. During the 1930's he worked for numerous French advertising agencies and he was sought after for his powerful Art Deco inspired illustrations.
