Harlyn Bay

Harlyn Bay Beach, Cornwall - In 1865, a laborer found two thin lunulae buried on the beach. They are believed to be grave goods from the Bronze Age, since there are several burial mounds nearby. They represent the crescent horns of the moon and are supposedly of great ceremonial import.
