Intro to Graphic Design
This board is a school project for my Graphic Design class. The goal of this project is to pin graphic design related things that are interesting and describe…
An ad for the Japan tsunami/earthquake aid. I love the use of the hearts because they are arranged in a way that spells out the word Japan; it also retains readability despite the repeating use of the heart design. The hearts are not only cute, but they are symbolic as well; they represent the care and compassion of those who help with the tsunami and earthquake relief in the advertisement.
Cool logo concepts for Bull's Eye Dart and Game shop. The complementary blue and orange fit well with the design because it draws attention to the orange, especially to the dartboard and the darts. Orange also symbolizes energy and excitement, which is relevant to the movement of the throwing darts.
An infograph about how divorce rates may be affected by amount of income. The color scheme work well with both the theme and representation. For example, the dark shades of grey represent negativity and depress. The grey also gets darker the lower the income is, but lighter the higher the income is. The use of red also emphasizes important information and symbolizes anger, which is commonly seen in divorces.
This Infographic revealing the cause of happiness/satisfaction of couples. The main use of the color orange and other warm colors is effective because it represents happiness and energy, which ties in to the theme of the infograph. The information is well organized as well with the division of specific sections and grouping with relevant images.
