If you’re thinking about getting into #kumiko, do yourself a favor and start by making angle jigs. They’re indispensable for getting good joints. • These are my angle cutting jigs, used with a block plane or chisel. Luckily, the 22.5, 30, 45, 60 and 90 degree cuts can be made on a 12” miter saw safely. The 67.5 degree angle needs a tenon jig for the table saw to make safely and accurately (you could do it by hand too, I guess).
