The white horses of the Camargue | Blind Magazine
Found at Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, France, on the Mediterranean coast in the heart of the Rhone Delta; the area is also known as the Camargue Delta. The semi-feral Camargue horse is considered a primitive breed & probably evolved in the Camargue Delta for centuries, possibly thousands of years. They live in small groups on large expanses of land managed by the Gardian herders. They spend much of their life in wetland marshes, & are often called the “Horse of the Sea”.

Marine Biologists Identify Three New Nautilus Species | SciNews
Nautiluses occur in the tropical waters of the Pacific & Indian oceans, near the coasts of Japan, Fiji, New Caledonia, & Australia. They have a shell diameter of 4" to 10" across & more than 90 tentacles — the most of any cephalopod. Unlike other cephalopods, instead of suckers their tentacles have grooves & ridges which are coated with a sticky secretion. A nautilus may live for more than 20 years, reaching maturity in 12 to 15 years.
