Embossed Raj Silver Bowl, Foliage Scrolls.
Repoussée silver work - English colonial period bowl, hand-worked Burmese/Indian silver, or possibly Lucknow silver. Late 19th century plus. Underneath the bowl is also patterned. Bowl is 5 cm high by 11.25 cm diameter. It has two dents under the curve of the bottom rim, one of which has pierced the metal, although there is no daylight showing - just a sharp edge. Fine light silver, slightly out of round, but correctable. A pretty bowl though. TW: 45.8g.
