"I am not sure which experience of Malham Cove has left the biggest impression on me: the first time I stood below it gazing at the breathtaking scale of the curved wall in front maybe, or later that same day lying at the top with just my face over the overhang lip and 260 feet of dizzying space below. Wherever it is viewed from, this is an awe-inspiring place that well deserves its ranking in a recent list of Seven Natural Wonders of Britain." Slow Travel Yorkshire Dales…
The Force Of Mother Nature
The forces of Mother Nature fighting against the elements. The erosion of the rock combining with the tree struggling for survival in its own unique way really was quite a sight. The Brimham Rocks are rock formations located on Brimham Moor in North Yorkshire, England. The rocks stand at a height of nearly 30 metres in an area owned by the National Trust which is part of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
