Unique and rather cool idea - use windchime tubes and run wicking through several, then place in glass of lamp oil. The oil wicks up thru the tube and burns cleanly. Sweet! Thinking of doing this with copper tubing, cut with a hacksaw to preferred lengths. Be sure to place in hefty glass and on a safe surface away from flameables.

A simple oil lamp can brings us closer to each other. Crafted from small mason jars with their original lid, perforated in the middle to allow that simple piece of rope to touch the oil at one end and to be set on fire at the other end. All this primitive source of light and heat is supported by tree trunks to enhance the organic look. This would go in my living room!! love it!
