He required more than a year to recover his health before recommencing flight training. He served with 315 & 303 Polish Squadrons, & is credited with 5 kills, 3 damaged, & 1 & 2 shared V-1s destroyed. In 1948 he emigrated to Australia, setting up a jewelry business. He died on 22 Feb. 2010.
