World Malaria Day
Malaria is disease transmitted by anopheles mosquito. It is seen mainly in humid climates and where sanitation is not proper. India is very prone to this disease. Common symptoms are headache, fever, vomiting and weakness. The theme of World Malaria Day 2020 is Zero Malaria.

World Tuberculosis Day
Tuberculosis (TB) is a potentially serious infectious disease that mainly affects your lungs. The bacteria that cause tuberculosis are spread from one person to another through tiny droplets released into the air via coughs and sneezes. The theme for this year is "Its Time to end it". The theme has a very strong message for everyone to take steps to prevent TB, cure TB and make the world TB-free.
World Down Syndrome Day
World Down Syndrome Day 2020, focuses on the theme "We Decide": all people with Down syndrome should have full participation in decision making change about matters relating to, or affecting, their lives. Effective and meaningful participation is a core human rights principle supported by the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD).
World Oral Health Day
World Oral Health Day (WOHD) is celebrated globally every year on 20 March. It is organized by FDI World Dental Federation and is the largest global awareness campaign on Oral Health. WOHD spreads messages about good oral hygiene practices to adults and children and demonstrates the importance of optimal oral health in maintaining general health and well-being.
This year World Kidney Day continues to raise awareness of the increasing burden of kidney diseases worldwide and to strive for kidney health for everyone, everywhere. Specifically, the 2020 campaign highlights the importance of preventive interventions to avert the onset and progression of kidney disease.
Epilepsy is a common and diverse set of chronic neurological disorders characterized by seizures. Scientifically it is a brain disorder that causes signals to be sent improperly from the brain. These confused signals cause seizures (involuntary sensations, movements or convulsions). Epilepsy can begin at any age and can be caused by brain damage or injury, abnormal development or an imbalance of chemicals in the brain.
